Today I had the afternoon at home, and made the most of the beautiful weather. I have been fighting for years to grow trees and the livestock both domestic and wild have beaten me on the whole, hundreds of trees I’ve planted and very few made it. Im going hard core – and putting an actual paddock fence in, im determined to beat the furry buggers! I have an area that I had tried planting some leatherwood trees for my bees – but no massacred. Im determined to have success with these trees – so permanent fencing it is. Im also planning this area to have some redwoods planted, and some manna gums on the off chance a stray koala strolls past. There are a couple of slips in the fenced area, so I will be able to put some hives amongst the trees also. Hard going by hand!, digging and crow bar, thank god we had a heap of rain last week, at least the crow bar docent bounce so much now!
